Blokus

This is one of Samuel's birthday present - Blokus. I like to see my children play board games. It teaches them to take turns & to have patience.

Samuel started to learn that he will not always win. He is willing to accept that he might sometimes lose. If he wins, he will get very thrilled and will announce to the whole world :p If he looses, he will say, "nevermind, we will play again"

michelle, its pretty easy, each chooses a colour n take turn to put a piece (different size and shapes) until one of them cant place any piece on the board... its easy but in order to win the game there will b some strategy to go along... just dat both of them keep putting n c who is able to finish all the pieces :)

It's wonderful that Samuel accepts losing. That really shows his maturity. My girl is a bad sport. Cannot lose one. If lose, give black face. Then kena lecture n scolding loh. :D

Hehe...Never judge a book by it's cover. It does look horrible but I am sure it does taste good since you said it's "yummy". Makes me drool.
I do agree we should let the children play more board games. At least they learn how to share, take turns and also learns to win and loose at the same time
