Jesse's Swimsuit

Yesterday, we went to Mothercare to get a swimsuit for Jesse. There are a few which is really nice. Mummy and daddy couldn’t decide which one to choose. We selected and let her tried 4 of them.

We then decided to get this one. Mummy think this one look cute on her. She looks like she is wearing a skirt.

The Swollen Ear

Yesterday morning we notice Samuel had mozzy bite on his ear again. The bite causes his ear to be big and swollen.

We have given him anti histamine and applied some hydro-cortisone cream. Hope his ear will be back as normal soon.

Constipation

Since baby, Jesse has constipation problem. She was fully on breastmilk and she takes alot of water, yet she has constipation. When she started solid, her constipation became worst. Yesterday, she had bad constipation. Everytime she wanted to poo, she will cry.

Yesterday afternoon, she did not take her nap. In the evening, she cried non stop. She was really cranky and wanted to poo at the same time. She still did not manage to poo this morning.

I know she is suffering as I have constipation often and I know it is really uncomfortable and painful.

What is the best way to stop constipation?

Infection Again

I have stopped breast feeding a week ago and yesterday I developed breast infection again. This is the 4th time I have breast infection since I started breastfeed Jesse. I never thought after a week I will still have an infection.

I tried to stop breast feeding by reducing the number of pumping. A month ago, Jesse had diarrhea and I took this opportunity to slowly reduce my frequency of pumping.

I had infection twice on the right breast and twice on the left. Fair and square!

Brunei Internet Down

Life is so different without internet. Not being able to go online nowadays is quite a challenge. Daddy, mummy couldn't blog about the family, Samuel & Jesse.

Daddy has to update this blog by blogging using his handphone. Hopefully internet in Brunei resumes back to normal soon. Now our only door to the internet is daddy's nokia e90.

Lasik ?

I have been sick for the past few days. The weather is just terrible. Extremely hot in the afternoon and at night heavy downpour with thunders.

I have blocked nose, sore throat, migrane and conjunctivitis. I don't know what is wrong with my eyes. I have been having red eyes on and off since a year ago. Everytime I have red eye, I do not feel any pain or itch. I have not consulted any doctor about this, since I have eye medicine and usually after 2 days it will recover.

It is also due to this reason I have stopped wearing contact lenses. I find that wearing spectacles is not so convenient especially when I have to wake up middle of the nights. I have to make sure I have my specs on before anything.

I have been thinking about lasik for the past few months. Unfortunately Brunei doesn't have such a thing. I will need to fly back to KL to do it. However that is not the concern.

My concern is will there be any side effects in doing lasik?

Should I do it or should I continue with my glasses?

Shoes and Handbags

Looks like every girl loves shoes and handbags despite their age. Girls' starts young from the tender age of 1 too. Look at Jesse.

It is just so natural that Jesse roams around and looks at shoes all by herself. hehe...

Its just a matter of time before Jesse has her own handbag :) hehe

Amazing how Jesse knows her choices and appreciates what are meant for girls... :)

Jesse's New Shoes

Jesse's new shoes

Last weekend we went and shop for Jesse's new shoes. It is not easy to get a pair of shoes for her. Its not because she has big feet, it is because her feet are quite fleshy. So, only certain type of shoes can fit. Infact, we have tried to look for a pair of nice shoes for her for more than a month.

Since sales just started, we must get her a pair of shoes hehehe.... We never failed to get our kids something during sales (this is how kiasu we are)

Daddy was actually looking for this particular shoes he saw sometime ago. So, we headed there to look for it. Unfortunately, this branch doesn't have it. Anyhow, we tried to look for other nicer ones.

After awhile, daddy saw this pair of shoes and let Jesse tried them. She was on size 4 and I was hoping to get a size bigger so that it can last longer. However, they don't have a bigger size.

Once we put on the new shoes for her, immediately she walks here n there looking at her shoes. She loves it so much. Daddy can't resist getting it since he knew Jesse loves the shoes. She refuses us to take the shoes out.

Samuel's New Stunt

Last week when I passed by the playroom, he called out "Mummy, look, I'm a monkey". This is his latest stunt and he called himself a monkey. I never knew he admitted himself as a monkey hahaha.... After few swings he got tired of being a monkey.
