Eye Surgery

I had my lasik surgery 2 weeks ago while we were in KL. The surgery was successful, although my vision is still not perfect. It is not very comfortable as I see things with shadows. It has been 2weeks and my vision did not really improve.

According to the eye specialist, my eyes will take abit longer time to have clearer vision, as my eyes are sensitive to the steriod eye drop. I need to put 2 types of steriod. One of them for 5 days and the other for 10 days. Once I stop using them, it will take me 2-3 weeks to have clearer and better vision.

On the 6th day after my surgery, the doctor changed the eye drop as my eyes were abit swollen due to the steriod drop. My eyes are sensitive to the drop as it was too strong.

After the surgery, my eyes are very dry. I have the feeling of wearing contacts lenses and it feels as though the lenses are going to drop off anytime.

may be you should take few days off to rest your eyes..outdoor activities is stressful to your eyes and may be the sun as well...

Upon hearing this, I'm having even more doubts abt lasik. I guess it depends on the individual how fast they can adjust n get normal vision. Anyway, I don't think I'll ever go for the surgery - jes think once in awhile oni. :D
